All of our Safety Boat Helms have an RYA Powerboat Level 2, accompanied with either a Safety Boat qualifiication or R3E Rescue Boat Operator course. We pride oursides being at the cutting edge of Water Safety.
We have been providing event safety for over 15 years and started by providing safety kayakers to events, Over the years we have grown and have provided over 100 safety crew to a number of events. We can assist with all the managament of your event from start to finish including risk assesments, safety plans and fully kitted crews.
Medical & Water Safety can provide First Aid, Water Safey, Communications, Marshalling, Car Parking and other safety related cover for your event.
We can now also supply Safety boats with Security Industry Authority Licenced crews meaning we can protect your site from on the water.
All off the managment team work within or alongside the emergency services so have knowledge and experiance in keeping people safe. We also work very closly with local authority partners and voluntary organisations, such as Search and Rescue, River Advisory Groups and statuatory bodies, to provide a wealth of experience in risk assessing and staffing events, with the most qualified and correct people for the job.
The HSE recommends that a single agency is tasked with arranging Safety and First Aid cover for public events. Whilst that agency does not have to actually carry out all safety tasks it is important that there is a single body to coordinate all agencies involved.
